Experience The Real Israel With Ezra Adventures

Aerial View of Jerusalem Israel at Dusk

What if going to Israel wasn’t just about visiting biblical sites but also participating in the bible's unfolding prophetic story?

In Hebrew, “Ezra” means “help”.

--And that's what we do.

Ezra Adventures provides small group, “boots on the ground” travel experiences to Israel designed to connect you to local people and practical needs. Several times a year, we bring multiple harvest aid teams to “help” and work alongside overwhelmed farmers to help bring fresh produce to market, for the benefit of ALL local communities- Jews, Arabs, Christians and Druze.

This isn’t a “holy land tour”.  It’s a heart-felt, life changing experience.

Since the Oct 7th Massacre, Israel has struggled to function on less than half of its agricultural workforce than before the attacks, losing crops in the process. In the most literal sense, the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. Israel needs your help!

You get to connect with people and rebuild the land while exploring unique biblical sites and discovering the incredible ancient prophecies awakening today.

For those who are unable to travel with us but sill want to be involved in sponsoring our efforts to support local needs, we invite you to donate to our teams!

Israel Isn't JUST a Destination - It's the Evidence

No other nation on earth has a story like Israel.

A people exiled, scattered, and forgotten—returned to the same land, with the same language, the same faith, and the same Scriptures after nearly 2,000 years. It’s not a myth. It’s not coincidence. It’s happening—and it’s exactly what the prophets foretold.

Unmatched in human history, the Scriptures declared that the Jewish people would be regathered to their ancient homeland TWICE. Today, we are witnessing that promise of that 2nd return unfold in real time. Just as was promised- the desert is blooming. The land is producing. Israel leads in innovation, exports and restoration- all on the same soil promised thousands of years ago.

No other people. No other land. No other comparison or explanation – except that God is keeping His promises.

Join an Ezra Adventures group and experience it for yourself.  This is your front-row invitation to the unfolding of biblical prophecy.

"I was very blessed to visit Israel with Doug in the spring of 2024. His Biblical insight and love for Israel combined with the incredible places and people there made for a truly life-changing experience. I now feel a connection with that nation on many levels."

FAQ section

Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the most FAQs that we receive.

Is it safe to travel in Israel right now?

Absolutely yes. Despite what you see on the news, in most of Israel, you would never know a war is going on.

In 2024, we led 6 harvest aid teams, 3 to the Gaza border, 3 to the Golan Heights near Syria. Our team trips are continuing through 2025. These groups have continued without any security issues or felt unsafe.

Furthermore, our Israeli partners and friends that we work with have extensive backgrounds including military leadership, special forces, the mossad, and security details. They know whats going on.

How long does an Ezra Adventures trip last and what does it consist of?

We recommend a minimum of 10 days but can arrange any length at your request. Due to the overwhelming local needs, at least 50% of the trip is intended for helping local farms with a few days of biblical sites.

How large are Ezra Adventures teams?

Due to our projects and style of travel, our groups range from 8-12 people. This allows for a more personal experience with the land and our local friends!

What type of service based projects will our group be participating in?

Isaiah 61:5 “Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards”

Our teams do what Isaiah foretold – working with local harvests. We aren’t just doing “service projects”- we are fulfilling bible prophecy in Israel’s time of need!

Since the Oct 7th attacks, the agricultural needs are huge. We’ve harvested strawberries, raspberries, cherries, tomatoes, helped in vineyards, mango orchards, planting new lychee fields, helped with irrigation lines and much more. No matter the time of year, farmers still desperately need volunteers, otherwise they’re often faced with losing their crop.

When we’ve had specialized skills in each group, our teams have also repaired farm machinery, built agricultural shipping crates, landscaping, rebuilt living spaces and hosted a BBQ for exhausted IDF units.

And no, you’re not too old- Our team ages have ranged from mid 20s to mid 70s!

If you like working with your hands, have a heart to help, AND are ready to personally fulfill Isaiah’s words, this is your way to do it!

Who benefits from our service projects?

While we partner with local organizations, we are often directly helping local farmers and communities that have been directly effected but the Oct 7th attacks. As a result of our recent harvest aid team efforts, ALL communities in Israel - Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze – benefit and have access to fresh produce!

Outside of service projects and visiting Biblical lands, what other types of activities can our group participate in?

We’re glad you asked! You need to eat and drink, right?

Israel is quickly becoming a foodie and wine destination with lots of creative farm to table local cuisines that blend the cultures that Jews have been returning from. Vineyards are being replanted in the same locations as many biblical vineyards and are now producing award winning wines, some made with ancient biblical methods… even those planted in the desert!

Since the prophets also foretold the land again producing bountiful harvests and vineyards again being replanted and producing wines, this is great opportunity to “find out what biblical prophecy tastes like!”

For those wanting more thrill seeking adventurous options, we got you covered there too! Check out this video to start dreaming!

Does Ezra Adventures travel anywhere else?

YES! We love Exploring Biblical Lands! Aside from Israel, we’ve led and arranged our small group style trips in Jordan, Turkey and Greece.

Besides the service projects, what else can I expect?

With our small group travel style, there are places we go with 8-10 people that we can't with a bus of 15-20. We stay in local lodgings, guest houses or on a kibbutz. We eat what locals are eating. We are often invited to farmers homes for a coffee and snacks. We experience some unique biblical sites that are not on the traditional tourist routes.

Our small group travel style is the very BEST way to go!
